Which jobs appear on the schedule?

The schedule displays production jobs according to their print dates. Each card can show the job's status, department, assignee, item count, shipping method and customer, and you choose which of those appear.

Can we move a job to another day?

Yes. Drag the job to a new date, and the change is reflected everywhere relevant in PrintBlocks. Moving jobs is its own permission, so a role can be given the schedule to read without being given the right to change it.

Can we open the full job from the schedule?

Yes. Open a production job directly from the schedule to review its products, quantities, files, mockups, notes and print details.

How are production and delivery dates calculated?

Dates are calculated according to your shop's working week, production lead times and the lead time of the selected shipping method.

What happens to the customer's date when a job moves?

You can use settings and automations to determine how a change to the production date affects the delivery date and the information shown to the customer.

Is this also a capacity-planning tool?

The schedule provides a clear view of the jobs and workload planned for each day, making it easier to identify where work is accumulating. It does not model machine hours or calculate capacity automatically: it shows you what a day holds and leaves the judgement to you.

Can we filter the schedule?

Yes. The schedule can be filtered by status, department, shipping method, the person an order or a job is assigned to, and whether a job is short of stock. A filtered arrangement can be saved as a view, so each team member opens the jobs relevant to them.
